Elisabetta, together with Rossana and Guido, welcomes you to this evening in honour of Giuseppe Locati: husband, father and grandfather, engineer, entrepreneur, inventor, sportsman, artist, writer and philosopher… a man complete in thought, form and matter; a great many concepts and few words, or lines, not always easy to understand.

To begin telling all the facets of this multifaceted figure, capable of confronting and innovating, at the highest levels, the “fundamental interdisciplinarity of knowledge”, we have chosen a means he did not favour: showing.

A video, created especially by VideoRA, accompanies us with images and the words of the critic Luigi Marsiglia through Giuseppe Locati’s life of research. Indeed, despite countless exhibitions in Italy and abroad and his publications, what he regretted, ever immersed in study and work, was not having the time to explain and make fully understood his “handwriting of thought”.

With this evening, together with the Cultural Association dedicated to him and the Archive of the Works, we wish to begin doing so: with You and all those interested in the pursuit of beauty. A pursuit that he found in the concepts and forms that surround You in this evocative venue.
